July 25, 2024

7/29-7/31/24
• Crew 1
o Finish any paving or cleanup needed in Phase 3 (Squires Lane to Pleasant Street)
o Begin installing temp water on phase 2 (Pleasant Street to Parkside Road)
• Crew 2
o Continuing mainline installation in Phase 1(Newport Intersection to Parkside Road) towards Pleasant St
o Temp paving Friday
8/5-8/9/24
• Crew 1
o Finish Temp water main installation on phase 2
o Chlorinate and sample temp water main
• Crew 2
o Finish mainline installation phase 1
o Temp Pave Friday
o Pressure test phase 1 main, chlorinate, flush and sample
o Begin phase 1 house services

Two week look ahead for the Main Street Project

July 22, 2024

     July 22nd-26th
      Crew 1
      Finish any remaining services in Phase 3 (Squires Lane to Pleasant Street).
      Start taking down temp water in Phase 3.
      Temporary pave all remaining trenches including temporary water trenches.

Crew 2
       Continue 12” main in Phase 1 (Newport Road intersection to Parkside Road).
       Tie in Williams Street and Parkside Road.
       Pressure test and chlorinate Phase 1.

July 29th-July 31
        Crew 1
        Finish any remaining clean up items in Phase 3.
         Start temporary water in Phase 2 (Pleasant Street to Parkside Road)
       Crew 2
        Start services in phase 1.
        Pave trenches on Wednesday

All work the week of July 29th will be completed by July 31 in order for the Town to enjoy their Hospital Days Celebrations.

Update and Two week look ahead

July 11, 2024

7/8-7/12

Crew #2 sampling temporary water main and starting house connections in Phase 1 (Newport Road to Parkside Road).

7/15-7/19

• Crew #1 - Continue Phase 3 laterals and temporary pave.
• Crew #2 - Finish temporary water in Phase 1, begin mainline installation from Newport Road towards Pleasant Street, and temporary pave.

7/22-7/26

• Crew #1 - Remove temporary water from Phase 3, begin permanent clean up in Phase 3 where needed.
• Crew #2 - Continue water main installation in Phase 1 and temporary pave.

June 27, 2024

July 1 - 5

Crew #1- Work on services in phase 3 (Squires to Pleasant)

 Crew #2 - Finish temp water in Phase 1 (Newport Int to Parkside)

 Pave all gravel trenches.

 Crews will be done working by noon on 7/3 and back to work Monday 7/8

Crew #2  to sample temporary water main in phase 1 and start house connections

Start water main when all residents are connected to temporary water main.

Everett Park water

June 25, 2024

During a scheduled water shut off this morning the crew ran into unforeseen issues. In order to complete the intended work today part of Everett Park (up to Williams Street) will need to be shut down until noon. The crews are doing everything they can to have the water turned back on with little inconvenience. Thank you for your patience.
