Water Service interruption notice
Service address: Newport Rd/Everett Park
On October 15, 2024 (depending on weather), the New London-Springfield Water System’s personnel and SUR West will be shutting the water off in your area. Your area will be without water service and you should plan for this. If there are no problems the expected time of interruption is between 3:00 AM and 8:00 AM.

Pave any remaining cross trenches binder flush in Phase 2 (Pleasant Street to Parkside Road)
Finish any remaining clean up in all three Phases
Pavers on site October 17 to mill and top cross trenches
Anything after October 11 will be final paving and clean up related. The crew might leave the site for a week or so while waiting for the pavers
(Main line in Phase 1 (Newport Intersection to Parkside Road) and Phase 2 ready October 30)

September 30 - October 4
Finish any remaining services in Phase 2 (Pleasant St to Parkside Road)
Pick up all remaining temporary water
Pave any remaining cross trenches in Phase 1(Newport Intersection to Parkside Road) and Phase 2.
Loam and seed any disturbed lawn areas in Phases 1, 2, and 3 (Pleasant Street to Squires Lane).
October 7 - October 11
Pave any remaining cross trenches binder flush in Phase 2
Finish any remaining restoration in all Phases
Paving to start on 10/17 to mill and top cross trenches
Two week look ahead for the Main Street Project
September 19, 2024
September 23 - September 27
Final Paving in Phase 1
Finish house services
Remove temporary water in Phase 1
Continue paving trenches binder flush
September 30- October 4
Remove all remaining temporary water
Pave any remaining cross trenches in Phase 1 and 2
Loam and seed any disturbed lawn areas in Phases 1,2, and 3

Everett Park water

During a scheduled water shut off this morning the crew ran into unforeseen issues. In order to complete the intended work today part of Everett Park (up to Williams Street) will need to be shut down until noon. The crews are doing everything they can to have the water turned back on with little inconvenience. Thank you for your patience.
